The hunt for our bar piece had been going on for months! We finally discovered an amazing piece at Refurn, a company that sells pre-loved furniture pieces. They consistently receive new products ranging from furniture, lighting, kitchenware, glassware etc. It's like a treasure hunt each time you head into one of their stores! Shopping with them is an excellent way to find unique one-of-a kind pieces for your space. 

For our bar piece, we wanted something with doors, a couple shelves on the inside for storage and to be wide enough to fit wine bottles sideways. We also wanted it to be dark brown with some gloss to it, so we had a bit of a fixer upper moment and are so in love with our new piece!

BEFORE:

For the stain color, we selected Herdins Lackbets 717 Svartbrun for a rich, semi-gloss dark brown available at Järnia (Solna Centrum location is closing the shop so everything is 25% off).

To add some more height to the bar, we removed the bottom wooden piece and added new legs from Jysk.
